Getting to COTA

Guests are encouraged to plan their route to Circuit of The Americas using the recommended guidance below. Browse by your mode of transportation to discover the most efficient way to arrive on-site.

By Car

All cars parking on-site during event weekends require a pre-purchased parking pass for admittance onto COTA Blvd. Depending on your parking lot, we recommend you take the following directions to arrive efficiently on-site:

Lots L & R

  • From Austin/Dallas: Head south on TX-130 S (toll). Take Exit 451 toward Elroy Rd. Turn left onto Elroy Rd. Continue 2 miles and follow signage for individual lots.
  • From San Antonio/San Marcos/New Braunfels: Head north on I-35. Take Exit 223A for TX-45 E (toll). Continue on TX-45 E (toll) until Exit 451 for Elroy Rd. Turn right onto Elroy Rd. Continue 2 miles and follow signage for individual lots.
  • From Houston/Bastrop: Head west on State Hwy 71 W until the TX-21 W exit. Take the exit toward Kellam Rd. Turn left onto Kellam Rd. Continue 3 miles and follow signage for individual lots.

Lots A, N, & T

  • From Austin/Dallas: Head south on TX-130 S (toll) until exit 453 toward FM-812. Take Exit 453 to FM-812. Turn left on to FM-812. Continue at least 1.5 miles and follow signage for individual lots.
  • From San Antonio/San Marcos/New Braunfels: Head north on I-35. Take Exit 223A for TX-45 E. Continue on TX-45 E until Exit 453 for FM-812. Take Exit 453 for FM-812. Turn right onto FM-812. Continue at least 1.5 miles and follow signage for individual lots.
  • From Houston/Bastrop: Head west on State Hwy 71 W until the TX-21 W exit. Take the TX-21 W exit toward San Marcos. Turn left onto TX-21 and continue 10 miles until the FM-812 W exit. Turn right onto FM-812. Continue at least 5 miles and follow signage individual lots.

Lots C, D, E, F, G, H, & K

  • From Austin/Dallas: Head south on TX-130 S (toll). Take Exit 451 toward Elroy Rd. Turn left onto Elroy Rd. Continue 2 miles until COTA Blvd. Turn right on COTA Blvd. Continue and follow signage for individual lots.
  • From San Antonio/San Marcos/New Braunfels: Head north on I-35. Take Exit 223A for TX-45 E (toll). Continue on TX-45 E (toll) until Exit 453 for FM-812. Take Exit 453 for FM-812, Turn right onto FM-812. Continue at least 1 mile until COTA Blvd. Turn left onto COTA Blvd and follow signage for individual lots.
  • From Houston/Bastrop: Head west on State Hwy 71 W until the TX-21 W exit. Take the exit toward Kellam Rd. Turn left onto Kellam Rd. Continue 3.5 miles until Elroy Rd. Continue straight onto COTA Blvd and follow signage for individual lots.
  • From Austin/Dallas: Head south on TX-130 S (toll) until Exit 453 toward FM-812. Turn left on to FM-812. Continue 4.5 miles and follow signage for Lot Q, also known as the Park-N-Ride Lot.
  • From San Antonio/San Marcos/New Braunfels: Head north on I-35. Take Exit 223A for TX-45 E. Continue on TX-45 E until Exit 453 for FM-812. Turn right onto FM-812. Continue 4.5 miles and follow signage to Lot Q, also known as the Park-N-Ride Lot.
  • From Houston/Bastrop: Head west on State Hwy 71 W until the TX-21 W exit. Take the TX-21 W exit toward San Marcos. Turn left onto TX-21 and continue 10 miles until the FM-812 W exit. Turn right onto FM-812. Continue 3 miles and follow signage to Lot Q, also known as the Park-N-Ride Lot.

By Rideshare

During large events, COTA Blvd will be restricted to permitted vehicles and buses only. Similarly, rideshare (Uber, Lyft, etc) services will operate out of the McAngus parking lot. A complimentary tram will be available to transport guests from McAngus to the Grand Plaza. To ensure a successful transit experience, rideshare vehicles will not be permitted on COTA Blvd during race weekends.

By Shuttle

Shuttles will be running continuously throughout race weekend from two pick-up/drop-off locations: Downtown at Waterloo Park and Travis County Expo Center.
